Pups and Pals Limited Services to Begin June 1. Email Your Upcoming Plans

As a proud Maryland small business, Pups and Pals Pet and Home Care has been adhering to the State’s stay-at-home guidelines and rules regarding businesses, services, and personal interactions. We took the steps necessary to protect our clients, our employees, and our communities so that, once life and schedules transition to normal, we can happily and safely service our clients’ pet and home care needs.

With the State of Maryland implementing Phase One of business and social start-up, pet groomers and adoption agencies have been identified as businesses that may re-open with limited operation. Since Pups and Pals falls in the pet care category, we feel comfortable starting the wheels rolling to provide a limited level of service. We’ve missed tremendously our pets and their families and our clients who entrust us to mind their homes while they are away.

Take a look at the information below. We will send updates as new services or information are available.

Pups and Pals plans to resume limited services on:

June 1, 2020

Phase One Services may include:

DOG WALKS

OUTSIDE HOME FOOD AND WATER REPLENISHMENT

We encourage clients to contact us via email (pupsandpals@comcast.net) to share plans you may have in the coming months that may require Pups and Pals services. We will consider each engagement on a case-by-case basis. To keep our pet families, employees, and other pet lovers safe,

We will continue to adhere strictly to State and Local Coronavirus rules and guidelines regarding personal and business operations. We may alter or postpone services at any time with notice with respect to official or personal guidelines. Pups and Pals will follow the protocols below:

  • All walks are with individual pets only; unless pets live in the same household. No group play or dog park visits at this time.

  • We will bring and use our own leashes appropriate for your pet. Each leash will be sanitized before and after each use.

  • At this time, Pups and Pals staff will not enter a home unless by prior agreement. Please plan to meet us at the front door or designated place or, in some cases, pets may be picked up and dropped off at a home’s fenced-in area. We can discuss specific details at time of booking.

  • At pick up and drop off, Pups and Pals staff will wear face masks and gloves, use hand sanitizer, maintain social distancing, and clean surfaces such as gate latches we may use. We will also clean your pet’s paws before re-entering the home.

As we return to our daily routines, it’s the most sincere wish of all at Pups and Pals that you and yours stay safe, stay diligent, and keep up the good work. I’m sure your pets have helped you and your families through these trying times (I know mine have!) and we look forward to bright times ahead helping pets and families.

And THANK YOU for your ongoing patronage to Pups and Pals and for staying in touch so we can have a smooth transition back into our busy lives.
